SavvyVan3 is available with a interface module to replace your EC50/EC51 control panel, adding all the benefits of our touchscreen control panels to your existing setup. Upgrading couldn't be simpler with full plug and play capabilities.

When replacing the EC50/EC51 control panel, SavvyVan will take over the 4 switching circuits, basic battery management and the water sender. All these controls will be transferred onto the SavvyVan3 Touch Screen. Your device will arrive pre-configured.
Please note, this setup will only work with the standard BCA wiring. If you have a modified wiring loom please contact sales@savvyvan.co.uk for information.First ensure you have ordered a compatible SavvyVan3, if in doubt email support@savvyvan.co.uk, then follow the instructions below:
Remove your EC50/51 control panel and remove the RJ45 at the rear.
Mount the SavvyVan control board somewhere which will give you access in the future but within reach of the connectors you have removed from the Sargemt control panel.
Connect the RJ45 cable to the SavvyVan Control Board.
Connect an additional 12v feed to the +/- screw terminals on the SavvyVan control unit. This is required as the RJ45 isn't capable of supplying enough current for the SavvyVan Touch interface.

We have already pre mapped the switches 1-4 to the Sargent power unit, DO NOT connect anything to the screw terminals 1-4. 5-8 are available to use.
The SavvyVan 3 will come with a temperature probe which can be installed inside or outside. Follow the instructions here to install and configure this probe.
If using an EC51 with a the Sargent water sender, remove connector from the EC51 control panel and connect it to the 5way pins on the SavvyVan3 interface board, ensuring the black pin is connected to the SavvyVan pin labelled with a star*.
Tap on the menu in the top left and tap Installer Settings > Tank Settings
Select Onboard > Sargent
Tap the Tile button in the top to take you to the main screen.
Your SavvyVan3 will now show the level of your water tank on the main screen.
As mentioned above, tiles 1-4 are now controlling your Sargent Power unit. To connect or activate any additional SavvyVan features, please see the support center for further instructions.
