Before you start, please ensure you are running the latest software version. For instructions to upgrade click HERE.
To start, remove your existing Propex control panel, being careful not to damage the connected cables. Connect the cables to the Propex Addon, this will provide power to the add-on and control of your heater. If you have the Gas only Heater you will only have the larger 6 pin cable, Gas and Electic have an extra 3 pin cable.
If you have a compatible gas tank, install the 2 cables from the sender to the screw terminals called ‘Gas’. If you have a remote solenoid, install this onto the screw terminals named ‘Solenoid’.
Once powered you should see a Blue flashing light within the unit indicating the addon is ready to pair
On your SavvyVan touch screen, head to Installer settings > Bluetooth and click search. Tap the + next to ‘Propex V2’. The Propex V2 should now move to the ‘Saved Bluetooth device’ on the left. Head back to installer settings and tap Heater Settings.
Configure the heater as desired, selecting the correct Propex Heat Source model number. Once configured head back to the main page.
On the right, you will now see the heater icon where you can see the target tempurture, current heating mode and adjust the temputure. Clicking the icon will take you to the main heating page where you can operate your heater, open/isolate your gas and see your gas levels.
